All expansion components are designed to fit into the Wyrmspan core game box. The expansion tray is designed to fit all cards *in the expansion*, not all cards from the core Wyrmspan game. This tray fits into the Wyrmspan box; the box is big enough to hold this tray plus all previous Wyrmspan components.
